The Center for Wound Care at Northwest Hospital

Millions of people have wounds that will not heal. The Center for Wound Care at Northwest Hospital has a highly skilled team of experts who provides comprehensive wound treatments to help patients return to a healthy lifestyle as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Non Healing Wounds

Wound care specialists should be consulted when wounds will not heal. In addition to being painful, they can lead to infections and, in the worse cases, gangrene or amputation.

Wounds develop for a variety of reasons. Among them are:

  • Ulcers and bedsores
  • Animal and insect bites
  • Poor circulation
  • Chronic bone infections
  • Radiation tissue damage
  • Skin grafts
  • Crush injuries
  • Surgery or trauma
  • Fungus infections

Our Program

Doctors at the Center for Wound Care at Northwest Hospital provide evaluations, diagnoses, treatments and post-acute outreach services using cutting-edge, evolving technologies to determine the exact cause of a non-healing wound.
